Every Kidz Pods program is built around the same conviction, your child deserves to be known, taught well, and challenged appropriately. What changes across our pods is the age, the way each child learns, and the specific methodologies we use to meet each child where they are.
All pods share the same non-negotiables: a maximum of 6 students, one certified teacher, a Christ-centered culture, and a curriculum chosen because it is the best available, not the most convenient.
The Preschool Pod
$25,000 per year
Ages 3–5
Before a child can read they must fall in love with language. Before they can do math they must develop number sense. Before they can learn independently they must feel safe enough to try.
Our Preschool Pod is designed around the Finnish early childhood education model — the most research-supported approach to early learning in the world. We do not rush children into academics. We build the foundations that make academics inevitable.

The Kindergarten Pod

Kindergarten is where the foundation is either built or bypassed. At Kidz Pods we build it — explicitly, systematically, and without rushing a single child past a concept they have not yet mastered.
In a pod of just six Kindergarteners, your child receives the individualized attention that this critical year demands. Every phonics pattern is taught in sequence. Every number concept is built on concrete understanding before moving to the abstract. Every child is known — and every gap is caught before it becomes a habit.

The First Grade Pod
$30,000 Per Year
First grade is where the reading brain either takes root or begins to fracture. A child who enters 1st grade with a strong phonemic foundation and exits with genuine decoding skills has a trajectory that almost nothing can derail. A child who enters 1st grade behind and is moved forward anyway carries that gap into every year that follows.
At Kidz Pods our 1st Grade Pod is where the Science of Reading does its deepest work. Every phonics pattern is taught explicitly. Every child reads decodable text matched to what they have been taught. Nobody guesses. Nobody skips. Nobody moves on until mastery is real.

The Second Grade Pod
$30,000 Per Year
By 2nd grade a child's reading trajectory is becoming clear. The children who were taught correctly in the early years are beginning to read fluently, write with confidence, and approach mathematics with genuine understanding. The children who were not are beginning to feel the gap — and to believe the gap is permanent.
At Kidz Pods our 2nd Grade Pod exists to close that gap for the children who are behind — and to accelerate it for the children who are ready to go further. In a pod of six 2nd graders with one certified LETRS-trained teacher, every child gets exactly what they need. Not what the class average demands. What they demand.

2nd grade is the last year before the academic demands shift dramatically in 3rd grade. A child who leaves our 2nd Grade Pod has been read to every day, challenged in mathematics every day, and taught as an individual every single day. They do not enter 3rd grade hoping they are ready. They know they are.
The Exceptional Learners Pod
$36,000 per year
This pod exists because of a conviction, not a market opportunity.
Renae Williams, founder of Kidz Pods, has operated a residential group home for young adults with autism since before this school existed. She has supported neurodivergent individuals not just in classrooms but in homes, communities, and every corner of daily life. When she designed the Exceptional Learners Pod she did not design it from a textbook. She designed it from experience.
WHO THIS POD SERVES
The Exceptional Learners Pod serves students with qualifying diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, Down syndrome, sensory processing differences, and other neurodevelopmental profiles. Students are grouped by compatible learning levels, Pre-K with Kindergarten, Kindergarten with 1st grade, or 1st with 2nd grade, ensuring appropriate peer grouping alongside individualized instruction. Students enrolled in this pod are eligible to apply Florida FES-UA scholarship funds toward tuition.

Behavioral Support
PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) framework embedded throughout the day. Behavior is understood before it is addressed.
Certified, Experienced Instruction
A Learning Facilitator with direct experience in special education and developmental disabilities. A program director who has lived this work daily for years. Your child will not be someone's first.
Florida Scholarship Funding Available
Florida FES-UA scholarship funds of up to $10,000+ per year can be applied toward Exceptional Learners Pod tuition. Kidz Pods is an approved Step Up For Students provider. We assist every family through the scholarship application process at no charge.
